We started with old carport removal and disposed of the existing aluminum pan roof. The demolition process was done carefully to ensure a clean workspace for the new installation. With the old structure cleared, we were ready to move forward with the next phase of the project.
We put in a total of four 4"x4" aluminum posts, securing them to the existing concrete slab for a solid foundation. Next, we installed a new 2"x6" aluminum beam, carefully notched into the fresh 4x4 posts for added stability. To tie everything into the house, we attached a 3" "C" channel to the fascia, creating a strong connection. Finally, we topped it all off with a brand-new 4' wide x 14' long insulated aluminum panel roof, giving the space a clean, durable, and polished finish.
We sealed the seams and panel hardware with waterproof tape to ensure long-lasting protection from the elements. Then, we installed a 5" fascia on each side for a clean, finished look. To manage rainwater efficiently, we added a 5" "E" gutter spanning 49 feet, paired with a 3"x4" downspout system for proper drainage.
With everything in place, our new carport is complete and ready to go! A fresh, sturdy upgrade that not only looks great but also adds durability and function to the space.
